Hyphen is one of South Africa’s most esteemed DJ’s and producers, and really needs no formal introduction. As one of South Africa’s Drum&Bass veterans, Hyphen has played an enormous role in the cultivation and growth of the Drum&Bass scene not only in Cape Town, but South Africa. Hyphen was a resident DJ at Homegrown, a Drum&Bass event in Cape Town which was pivotal in pushing the genre forward. When Homegrown ended, Hyphen took over the reigns with fellow DJ RudeOne and created Pressure in its place. He’s also a staple at festivals, and has played at Rezonance, Oppikoppi, Grietfest and more. Hyphen also hosts The Sublime Drum&Bass Show every Tuesday from 10pm-12am on Bush Radio [89.5fm] which he’s been hosting for 13 years.

Bryan has been DJing since 2000 and is widely known for his love of Deep House. This love resulted in him co-founding One Foot in the Groove in 2010, which fast became one of Cape Town’s most prestigious Deep House events. He also co-founded one of Cape Town’s biggest and most successful events, LoveAll (where he’s a resident DJ) which consistently boasts some of Cape Town’s best DJ’s and producers from every genre. His versatility has been key to his success, as his passion for music doesn’t end at Deep House. He’s also well-known for playing Hip Hop, R&B, Bass and anything with soul.

RebelClef is one of the most unrivalled Bass DJ’s South Africa has to offer, and has become fundamental in Cape Town’s Bass music scene. He also co-founded Cold Turkey, Cape Town’s premier Bass music event which took Bass music to new heights. RebelClef’s sound can be described as UK Bass music or as Soulection’s “The Sound of Tomorrow”. He has shared the stage with internationally renowned artists like Diplo, Coki and Adam F. Constantly pushing his passion for Bass music RebelClef founded SA Bass Culture (SABC), which was created to help build a network of South African artists to showcase their work and help the growth of South African music.

Sircula is an all round Bass enthusiast and also co-hosts TheDankish radio show. His interest in Bass music stems back to 2009 when he was introduced to Dubstep. His sound is varied as he plays all things Bass music, from Techno, House, Dubstep and anything in between.
Dunn Kidda is one of Cape Town’s most prized up and coming artists. He started out as a Grime producer when he was a teenager, but today his artistic growth has resulted in him not limiting himself to only one genre. He’s also the co-founder of streetwear brand Ruckoi and has played at prominent events like LoveAll and Cold Turkey (to name a few).
Unkle Luke’s passion is Hip Hop, and he’s steadily become a sought after act at many events. His residency at Bang Bar has not only made him a crowd favourite, but also a favourite among fellow artists. Although he’s a Hip Hop head, it doesn’t stop him from playing other genres like Drum&Bass.
