Australian producer Ta-ku, has become a paramount figure within the electronic music industry all over the world. He’s known for his incomparable remixing abilities, and original productions. He’s remixed songs by Chet Faker, Willow Smith, Flume, Banks and the list goes on. His EP Songs to break up to released two years ago explored the state of heartbreak, and received much acclaim. He then released Songs to make up to last year which explored the happier and lighter side of love.
Sean Grannum a writer based in Japan, interviewed Ta-ku and created two mixes to showcase and honour some of Ta-ku’s work. He released them in two parts, the first was a hip hop centric mix showcasing 100 of Ta-ku’s original productions and remixes. Part two showcases trap, future R&B and BASS. It also includes 100 of Ta-ku’s remixes and own productions.
